  • Assisted the Medical Women’s International Association with their strategic planning and reporting

  • Assisted in the preparation of a successful tender to deliver AGPT program in 2016 in the new South Eastern Queensland region.

  • Prepared a comprehensive Transition Plan to assist the CEO and Board to identify the necessary steps and resources required for the efficient and effective wind up of the organisation by December 2015.
  • We continue to coach senior staff to improve their leadership capabilities.

Eastern Melbourne Medicare Local

  • In partnership with Later Consulting we undertook research that involved scoping of Advanced Care Planning policies and current projects, preparation of a report with recommendations.

  • Conducted an evaluation of two Rural Generalist programs operating in Victoria and NSW. And prepared a report with recommendations.
  • Implemented the recommendations resulting in program improvements.

 

RACGP  Royal Australian College of General Practitioners

  • Conducted a needs analysis of the GP Psych Support Service.
  • Prepared a detailed report with recommendations.
Medicare Bayside Bayside Medical Local

  • Completed a data audit resulting in a data inventory which identified current data sets; and enabled data sets to be collated into a central repository accessible to staff.
  • Prepared a report on existing data assets and management with recommendations to assist BML to manage and preserve data holdings.
Medicare Bayside Frankson Southern Peninsula After Hours Feasibility Study

  • Conducted a study investigating whether a GP co-located after hours clinic was a viable option and assessed four other after hours service delivery models for the Southern Peninsula area.
  • Prepared a report with recommendations.
Medicare Grampians Grampians Medicare Local

A primary care organisation needed to understand the health and after hours needs of their communities through analysis and planning.In partnership with the Health Issues Centre:

  • We conducted research, undertook data analysis and prepared a comprehensive Grampians Medicare Community Needs Assessment – accepted by Commonwealth.
  • Prepared a suite of reports including three sub regional needs analysis reports and one information review and data analysis report.
Medicare Northern Northern Melbourne Medicare Local

  • Completed a Gap Analysis and prepared a Plan.
  • Prepared two key documents: a Whole of Region Needs Assessment and Stage 1 After Hours plan – accepted by Commonwealth.
  • Stage 1 plan implemented.
 Medicare Bayside Frankston-Mornington Medicare Local

  • Prepared a Whole of Region Needs Assessment and Stage 1 After Hours plans – Accepted by the Department of Health and Ageing.
  • Stage 1 plan implemented.
Medicare SE South Eastern Melbourne Medicare Local

  • Assisted Southern Academic Primary Care Research Unit (SAPCRU) with the development of South Eastern Melbourne’s Whole of Region Needs Assessment by identifying key data sources; compiled and analysed demographic and population health data.
  • The plan was accepted by the Department of Health and Ageing.
  • The Stage 1 plan was implemented.

  • Prepared a successful General practice Primary Care Infrastructure Grant (PCIG) program application (Stream C $500,000).
  First Health Medical Centre

  • Prepared two successful grants: General Practice After Hours (GPAH) grant program application ($100,000). And a Primary Care Infrastructure Grant application (Stream C $500,000).

  • Developed successful Primary Care Infrastructure Grant application (Stream A $150,000)
General Practice Registrars Australia LTD

  • Developed a comprehensive three-year program plan for the GP First Program. Accepted by Commonwealth Government. The program has been implemented.
  • Developed a suite of supporting plans including communication and marketing plans.
  • Prepared an evaluation framework for the GP First Program.
  • Prepared data base specification to upgrade GPRA’s existing database.
  • Provided Board training on risk management.
  • Reviewed and updated GPRA risk management plan.
RACGP Royal Australian College of General Practitioners

  • Prepared a briefing paper for National Standing Committee–Quality (unpublished).
Central Highlands Central Highlands GP Network

  • Developed with input from CHGP staff a valued educational resource titled: A Population Health Resource kit for divisions and general practice.
Kidney Health Kidney Health Australia

  • Completed a comprehensive feasibility study into the development of a Renal Cooperative Research Centre for KHA bringing together a coalition of key researchers and academics in this field prepared to work together and to seek funding maximising the potential for a successful future bid.
  • Through preparation and lodgement of targeted high quality funding submissions to philanthropic and government departments we contributed to raising of Partnership and Trust income of $700,000 (23 per cent) of total income for KHA.
